16th August 2025 Hiking - Walking: Holywells Park, Ipswich Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: Saturday 16th August - walk **** – Holywells Park, Ipswich – cloudy then sunny. Thursday 14th Aug. Arlo still under the weather so I drop his my and dad off at The Manor so then can paddle board to The Dip, they have a swim they and I take Sarlo down to pick them up. Top day for weather pics as I get one on both the BBC and ITV:) Friday 15th Aug. Morning family get together at our son Dans house, Arlo who is feeling much better has fun in the hot tub. We then visit the Manor Martello tower for an open day and go to a foam disco at Beach Street ans I get soaked with Arlo! Family meal to end a top day! Saturday 16th Aug. We visit Auntie Diane in Ipswich with both my boys and Grandchildren, then went to Holywells park for a walk and a picnic having loads of fun in the kids park and pretty much had the water park to ourselves as the sun came out! Sunday 17th Aug. Rob goes to watch a poor Ipswich Town draw with Southampton. We have a short walk on the prom with Arlo on his scooter! Monday 18th Aug. Last day of a brilliant family visit, I go the the Ferry early to take weather pics and get one on the BBC. Arlo and I have fun with the ping pong gear before we head down to the beach for sausage and chips, we take Arlo to the rip-off amusements in the pier, never again!!! While Rob and Hannah have one last swim before driving back to Deven! Photo Album here |
